OperAlive! Series 2003-2005

This series is a program of choruses and small ensembles from operas, including selections by Handel, Mozart, Rossini, Borodin, Gounod and Verdi. The versatile singers of Musica Plenti present duets, trios, quartets and choruses from opera favorites, ranging from Mozart to Bernstein, and including Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, Bizet, Johann Strauss, and more than a touch of Gilbert and Sullivan. Musica Plenti has performed this program, with annual variations, during a period spanning 1999 through 2006 at Westport's "First Night" festivities, and it has proved to be one of their most popular attractions.
